Purposely Serving the LGBTQI Community

As a business that purposefully serves LGBTQI individuals and communities, we can provide immediate, on-the-ground support to prevent and combat mistreatment and discrimination while accessing services. On behalf of our clients, we provide LGBTQI-specific education, training and advocacy to your providers. We recommend that all of our clients bring their Navigation Manager and/or trusted loved one to any medical appointment for support and advocacy. We share tools and resources for self and partner advocacy within healthcare settings, based on your experiences and concerns. A prepared support person is often crucial to ensuring you and your decisions are heard and respected.

Tailored Care Plans

All of our services are tailored to meet your individual needs, however, these are the areas we find our LGBTQI-identified clients most often desire assistance and support:

  • Same-Sex Relationship Rights
  • Homophobia & Transphobia Discrimination Prevention
  • HIV Discrimination Prevention
  • Trans & Gender Spectrum 101
  • Pronoun Preference & Name Enforcement
  • Families of Choice

In many systems such as hospitals and physicians’ offices you may be working with a number of providers who you are unfamiliar with.  Studies have shown that LGBTQI individuals are less likely to seek medical care across the board due to poor experiences, discrimination and even refusal to treat. A prepared support person is often crucial to ensuring you and your decisions are heard and respected.

If you are experiencing a healthcare crisis and have fears about what provider to choose, don’t put your health at risk, call us today at 630-479-0083.
